I started my professional career as a fitness instructor for a local gym in Homewood, Illinois named Women's Workout World. Here, at the age of 16, I witnessed what the power of a community of positive women could accomplish. Over the years I furthered fell in love with movement by learning more about yoga, pilates, kickboxing, step aerobics, strength training, and aquatics which completely shifted the lens through which I viewed mobility and was introduced to Physical Therapy. I completed my undergraduate education in business from Arizona State University and achieved my Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Governors State University.

I decided to specialize in Pelvic Health after my own experience being pregnant with my first child. Despite all my past experience with fitness, I felt completely unprepared for how the pain and physical stress carrying a child would impact my life. I got tired of bringing my concerns to my doctor and hearing "of course you're in pain baby... you're pregnant!" Three years later, I was able to breeze through pregnancy with my twins just to get blind-sighted again by "the fourth trimester" and the lack of priority birthing individuals receive after leaving the hospital. Again, I was thankful for this experience as it blessed me with my true passion, and as such, birthed The Mobile Mommy PT.
